Rowicki Family Cookbook
This cookbook was designed for the Rowicki family, who, like most families, had an unruly collection of recipes from generations of family members. The project involved cooking and photographing (and taste testing!) the finished recipes. For this book, I really wanted the prep time, cook time and number of servings to stand out. I highlighted this information on each recipe page so a reader could easily flip through and see if they actually had the time to cook the meal. As someone with a hangry 1-year-old who hangs on me the entire time I am making dinner, I know this feature in a cookbook can be of the utmost importance.
Another aspect of this project was a set of videos of the recipes being made. I shot these from above, then edited in the ingredient names as they were being added to the recipe. This was just another way to show the ease of preparing the family's recipes.
